We hope you enjoy our getaway just as much as we do. Our Pocono mountain retreat is located in Lake Harmony Estates, a short walk to the lake but far enough from the main road to provide a quiet woodsy experience. Wake up in the A-Frame Chalet to a view of trees and sky, jump in the lake, play tennis on the nearby courts or drive a short distance to ski slopes or unwind at the many nearby bars and restaurants. During warmer months, you can take advantage of the large, fully furnished deck, with gas grill, and enjoy the abundance of wildlife that surrounds you. We’ve seen everything from deer to fox to wild turkeys and bears!
Enter the home on the first floor, the lower living room. This comfy room has two couches, a smart TV (access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and many cable stations), and a fireplace with a gas insert. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds, a washer and dryer in the hall closet and a full bathroom with a shower/tub. Head up the stairway to access the main floor.
At the top of the steps, you’ll enter the kitchen. There is an island in the middle of the kitchen with two bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with most anything you could need to cook or bake. We’ll always do our best to keep the essentials stocked — olive oil, coffee, sugar, etc.
On the second floor are two more bedrooms, one queen and the other a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom bed. There is also another bathroom with a shower. Immediately to the left of the kitchen is the dining room table that seats six with 4 extra folding chairs.
You can also access the large deck from this level. The deck has a small patio table and a gas grill for all the outdoor cooking and entertaining.
To the left of the dining area is a large sectional couch, super comfy to watch television on another smart TV or play games in front of the fireplace. We have a stereo system with speakers on the main and lower levels as well as outside that you can connect to with any Bluetooth device.
The loft has two single beds, a third TV with a firestick hookup, love seat, chair and coffee table. The loft is not only a great place for kids, it’s also a great getaway for reading or hiding out to take a nap.
This home is convenient to the slopes, private beach, tennis courts, fun lakeside restaurants and nightlife. Enjoy numerous nearby activities. Hike the beautiful trails of Hickory Run State Park, spend the day outlet shopping, antiquing, river-rafting or a day of golf on the brand new Jack Frost Golf Course. If you are a NASCAR fan, the Pocono Raceway is minutes away.
